Our people are being pushed too far by herdsmen Benue state Governor says as he reacts to last fridays attack

Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom says his people are being pushed too far by herdsmen who attacked residents of Agwabi village in Benue Council Ward of Buruku Local Government area of the state last Friday May 13th. In an interview with news men in Markurdi, the state capital today May 16th, 2016 Ortom said:

"I did not become governor to preside over dead bodies. No day passes without the blood of the innocent spilled by rampaging gunmen! Our People are being pushed too far by herdsmen! The old and the young has been slaughtered, children separated from their parents and many people chased form their homes to sleep in the bush without food to eat. This is genocide and I call on All Nigerians to condemn the Invation, Destruction, Killing and Occupation of Benue communities by herdsmen."
